Terms and Conditions

Introduction:

By placing an order with CV Righter (Part of People and Numbers Limited) you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions which are set out on this page. We recommend that if you disagree with any of these Terms and Conditions you do not use our website. From time to time we may decide to change these Terms and Conditions. Should these changes take place after you have placed an order with CV Righter then the original Terms and Conditions at the time of placing your order will apply.

A contract with our service will only exist when CV Righter have accepted your order.  You will receive your order acceptance via email.  Occasionally we may refuse an order without notice but will inform you within 24 hours of your order and in this case we will of course make a full refund.

All prices listed on the CV Righter website are subject to change without prior notice and CV Righter does not accept any liability for this. Should our prices change after you have placed an order then the price at the time of purchase will apply.

All content on this site is the property of CV Righter. Unauthorised copying is not permitted.

CV Righter goes to great effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate. We only provide advice and accept no liability as a result of inaccuracy in any of the information on the CV Righter website.

Ordering with CV Righter:

In order to complete your order we collect personal information such as contact details, education and employment history and you can read our full privacy policy here

CV Righter take payment in advance in order to begin your order. This is processed through our WooCommerce shop using online merchant service PayPal or bank card.  

CV Writing/ Linked In Profile Turnaround Time:

We aim to turnaround CVs within 7 working days **from consultation call date not order date**

If you need your documents sooner than this or by a particular deadline then you MUST contact us in advance of purchase to ensure that we can accommodate the request. If you do not do this in advance of purchase and we are unable to meet your deadline we cannot be held liable any inconvenience that this may cause.  In such cases we will be happy to refund minus any fees incurred by us for transacting the initial sale or refund.

Our turnaround times are average values and may be longer during busier periods. The turnaround time starts once the consultation call has been completed and all necessary information has been gathered from the customer, not from when an order has been placed.

If we find that we are likely to fall outside the agreed turnaround time during a busier period, we will contact you to discuss this and agree on any required actions.

Similarly, if we find that, due to the nature of your order, we are likely to fall outside the agreed turnaround time – for example, if the information is very complex – we will contact you to discuss this and agree on a time frame.

CV Righter cannot be held liable for any complications or inconveniences incurred by the customer as a result of failing to meet our average turnaround time. No refunds will be given in instances such as those outlined above.

Please note that all of our CV and Linked In Services include a consultation call and require information to be provided by the customer. We can only meet average turnaround times if the customer is available for calls and sends through any requested information promptly.  Please note we aim to complete consultation calls within 3 days of accepting your order.

Once your order has been placed with CV Righter we will need to arrange a telephone/ zoom call with you to gather all necessary information. The turnaround time pertaining to your order will apply from when the consultation call has been completed and any requested information has been sent by the customer. 

Draft and Final Version Delivery

When gathered during the consultation call and via email we will write your CV/ Linked In Profile from the information provided, and, where any existing content is deemed fit for purpose, we will use it in the new CV.

Your CV draft will be delivered back in PDF format to the email address provided at the time of placing the order.  

If you would like us to make any changes to the draft version please email your CV Writing Consultant within 48hrs advising them of changes you would like.  Once they have received the email your consultant will respond if they feel, based on their experience, that your changes are advisable or not.  Should you wish to still make the changes against our advice we will of course respect your wishes.

We aim to complete any requested adjustments within two days of your request. If you would like them completed sooner then please advise us of this so that we may try and do the adjustments sooner. 

If, after 48hrs from sending the drafts we have not heard from you to contrary we will assume that you are happy with the documents and will issue your final versions.  At this point your order will be deemed completed.

Final versions will be delivered in word and PDF format to the email address provided at the time of placing the order.  Should there be any information missing at this stage we will be unable to send your CV in PDF format. However, should you provide the missing information back to CV Righter then we will happily arrange for a PDF version to be sent to you within 48 hours.

We do recommend that throughout the process of your order being completed you check your junk or spam folder. We cannot accept any liability for an order being sent but perceived as not received for this reason. Any additional services ordered – for example, a Linked In profile – will accompany your completed order unless otherwise agreed with your CV writing consultant.

Once you have received your final versions order we will assume your order is complete 

We provide our services in good faith and orders are completed to the best of our knowledge by experienced CV writers. We cannot accept any liability should you suffer any loss or damage as a result of taking our advice.

Cancellation and Returns Policy:

The services provided by CV Righter are categorised as goods ‘made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised,’ exempting them from standard distance selling regulations. In our dedication to ensuring 100% customer satisfaction, we offer a comprehensive revision policy to ensure your CV meets your exact requirements. This includes a 100% satisfaction guarantee supported by unlimited First Draft amendments providing the changes are requested within 48 hours of the draft being issued.

Our refund policy further enhances our commitment to customer satisfaction: if you cancel prior to your consultation call giving us at least 24 hours before the scheduled call time, you are entitled to a full refund less any transaction fees incurred during the sale or refund process.
